FREE Gear Inspection Software
PECo announced a FREE software package to its current customers as part of their continuing customer service efforts. With the economic crisis in mind, PECo decided to lend a hand to their ND300 and ND430 customers. Anyone who owns and / or purchases a gear measurement machine from Process Equipment Co. by September 2009 will receive a software package valued between $5,000 and $10,000 - absolutely free.
“I am offering our clients this free software package so that they can add to their current capabilities and perhaps also help them enter new markets during these tough economic times,” said Brian Slone, Metrology Systems Division Business Unit Manager.
The software packages available range from ‘Unknown Gear’ to ‘Hob inspection’ and are typically options PECo customers put on their “wish-list” to purchase at a later date. The free software package is downloadable and easy to install, therefore there are no hidden fees or additional expenses involved. The software could open doors for future business that these customers could otherwise not pursue.
“Customer service is at the forefront of PECo’s philosophy,” Slone said. “When the economy bounces back, it is our hope that this software addition will help position our clients to take advantage of new opportunities.”
